Dim: Canvas 27x46 cm. Frame 37x56 cm. Oil painting on stretched canvas, original, impressionist Alps mountain landscape, or mountainscape, with a nature scene on canvas board. Signed in the lower right with the initials "W F L". Framed in a decorated wooden sturdy frame, finished in plaster and gold, with small amounts of paint loss. Author unknown, athough signed with clear initials at the lower right. Very pretty original painting of a landscape scene with rural panorama of the European highlands outback near the Alpine mountains (perhaps a scene of the Bavarian alps, as usual in this kind of oil painting) showing a river with some cattle and a field being harvested. There is also a small tear to the canvas. It would enhance an antique interior decor.
