The Código De Minería (Mining Code) of Mexico, originally published in 1885, represents a significant historical document outlining the legal framework governing mining activities in Mexico during the late 19th century. This legal code provides insights into the regulations, policies, and procedures concerning the exploration, extraction, and ownership of mineral resources. As a primary source, it offers valuable information for historians, legal scholars, and researchers interested in the economic and legal history of Mexico, the development of its mining industry, and the evolution of resource management practices. This edition allows modern readers to access and study the original text, understanding the context of mining law during a crucial period of Mexico?s development.
