Miles Davis – Miles In Berlin (18AP 2065)

- is a live album by the legendary American jazz trumpeter Miles Davis. It was recorded on September 7, 1964 during a concert in the Plenary Hall of the Congresshalle in Berlin.

The album was later released and features Miles Davis together with his band, which at the time consisted of George Coleman (saxophone), Herbie Hancock (piano), Ron Carter (bass) and Tony Williams (drums).

The album presents Miles Davis and his band in a creative phase of their work in which they made the transition from hard bop to modal jazz.

It contains interpretations of pieces such as "Milestones", "All of You", "So What" and "Walkin'", which are among the masterpieces of jazz.

"Miles in Berlin" is an important document in the career of Miles Davis and showcases his musical genius as well as the skills of his brilliant backing musicians.

It captures the energy and spontaneity of a live performance and offers listeners an insight into the musical development of one of the most important figures of 20th century jazz.
