Genevieve Alison Jane Moyet (Billericay, Essex, 18 de junio de 1961), más conocida como Alison Moyet, es una cantante de pop, blues y rock inglesa, quien saltó a la fama al ser la voz del dúo Yazoo.

Moyet lanza en 1984 su disco solista debut: Alf, que se colocaría en la cima del ránking británico.

Alison Moyet started her career in 1982, at the age of 21, when she formed the electropop duo Yazoo with former Depeche Mode member Vince Clarke. Yazoo scored several hits and recorded two albums. However, in 1983 Moyet and Clarke decided to disband Yazoo.

In 1984, Moyet released her debut solo album 'Alf' (titled after her punk-era nickname). The record became a huge hit and spawned three international hit singles: 'Love Resurrection', 'Invisible' and 'All Cried Out'.
