Los amuletos de escriba en el Antiguo Egipto eran objetos de gran importancia, tanto en la vida cotidiana como en las costumbres funerarias. Estos amuletos, que podían ser de diversos materiales como piedra semipreciosa, faianza, metal o cerámica, no eran solo ornamentos, sino instrumentos cargados de poder sobrenatural. Su utilización respondía a fines apotropaicos, terapéuticos, protectores o propiciatorios, y abarcaba múltiples contextos de la vida cotidiana y del ámbito funerario.

Los amuletos eran utilizados por hombres y mujeres, y se creía que protegían contra peligros externos e internos, atraían la buena suerte, el amor, la salud, el trabajo y el éxito.

Los amuletos eran considerados objetos de carácter mágico-religioso, utilizados para mitigar la incertidumbre y afrontar las amenazas vinculadas al dolor, el peligro y el temor. Su eficacia se

atribuía a la existencia del espíritu del dios, animal o ser que habitaba en el interior de su imagen.

Scribe amulets in Ancient Egypt were objects of great importance, both in daily life and in funerary customs. These amulets, which could be made of various materials such as semiprecious stone, faience, metal, or ceramic, were not merely ornaments, but instruments imbued with supernatural power. Their use served apotropaic, therapeutic, protective, or propitiatory purposes, and encompassed multiple contexts of daily life and the funerary sphere.

The amulets were used by both men and women, and were believed to protect against external and internal dangers, attract good luck, love, health, work, and success. Amulets were considered objects of a magical-religious nature, used to mitigate uncertainty and confront threats linked to pain, danger, and fear. Their efficacy was attributed to the existence of the spirit of the god, animal, or being that inhabited its image.
